Last weekend's competitive action at the Green Hill European Open in Oberwart, Austria may be over but the fighting continues albeit in the shape of a three day training camp.

70 athletes in two groups take to the training tatami twice daily to hone their skills during this current round of international competition. Sandwiched between the IJF's Paris Grand Slam and Dusseldorf Grand Prix Oberwart again attracted strong representation from visiting Asian teams, particularly the Japanese.

Asami Haruna -48kg, HashImoto Yuki -52kg, Yamamoto Anzu and Ishikawa Megumi -57kg were just a few of the high-quality practice opportunities on offer. It was not all hard work however as recovery from the tough training sessions is provided in the spa village of Bad Tatzmannsdorf where the athletes are accommodated. It's back to the World Tour this weekend when training takes a back seat and competitive battle resumes in Dusseldorf.
